My Little Girl

I have been waiting for this book to arrive in my mail and felt very happy when it finally arrived. I wanted to read this book for the joy of reading and share it with my child.

In the book, My Little Girl, authors Tim McGraw and Tom Douglas came out with a beautiful story of Katie and her Dad - how they enjoyed a special day in a very different way than their usual days. After all the pain she has taken to decide on what to wear for the day, Katie was disappointed to realize that they were neither going to a ball nor going to Africa. But with her childish faith, she went along with her Daddy.

As the time flew, Katie thoroughly enjoyed the day playing with bunnies, baby chicks and baby ducks. Above all she enjoyed the most by being with her Daddy all through the day. Its a simple story emphasizing the importance of parents taking time to play with their children and understanding the importance of family relationships.

I enjoyed the beautiful illustrations by Julia Denos, which were captivating to the eye with lively colors and rustic scenarios. I am sure every child and parent will enjoy going through this book.
